Lube the inside top of the slide on first install — tight tolerances can cause drag during the first 50–100 rounds. Run a break-in cycle before relying on the barrel for carry use, and confirm the recoil spring assembly matches OEM Gen 3 spec if you are running this on a Gen 4 slide.
