Handguards

AR-15 handguards in every common rail standard: free-float M-Lok and KeyMod, quad rail, and drop-in carbine and mid-length polymer covers. Lengths run from 7 inches for pistol builds and PDW carbines up to 15 inches for extended sight radius and forward hand placement.

Picking the right handguard

  • Free-float M-Lok (UTG Pro, Luth-AR, Strike Industries, LFA D-Series Lite, Presma, Midwest Industries) — the modern default. Barrel stays untouched, so gas-block clearance and accuracy are both easier to sort out.
  • KeyMod and Quad Rail (Bravo Company Gunfighter, Phase5 Slope Nose, Midwest T-Series, UTG Pro Super Slim) — pick these when you already own KeyMod or Picatinny accessories.
  • Drop-in polymer (Magpul MOE Mid-Length, Anderson A2 carbine two-piece) — the simplest upgrade. No barrel-nut work, no gas-block clearance headache.

Handguards install around a barrel and gas block, so check gas-tube length (pistol, carbine, mid, rifle) before ordering. Pair with a matching barrel and gas block or gas tube, or add M-Lok sling mounts once the handguard is on. Free shipping on every order.

Keymod

Handguards using the keymod accessory attachment mechanism. Keymod is a universal accessory attachment interface system that was designed to supersede the MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rail system. Rails that feature the keymod accessory mounting system frequently carry a 1913 rail as well.

M-Lok

M-lok is a modular locking accessory mounting system that direct attaches accessories to a negative mounting space. It has been in use since 2007 and was developed by Magpul Industries as a replacement for the MOE slot system. M-lok is freely licensed to allow compatibility of accessories across different manufacturers.

Quad Rail

Two-piece drop-in and free-float AR-15 quad rail handguards in carbine, mid, and rifle-length configurations from 6.7 inches up to 15 inches. Picatinny-1913 rails on all four sides give you the widest accessory-mounting footprint of any handguard standard — useful when you already own iron sights, lights, lasers, or optic risers cut for 1913.

Drop-in vs free-float

  • Two-piece drop-in (Midwest Industries 2-Piece Carbine, UTG Pro 4/15 Carbine, 6.75" and 7" carbine-length options) — clamshells over the existing delta ring and end cap. No barrel-nut removal, quickest install, keeps the factory front sight base if you have one.
  • Free-float (Bravo Company Gunfighter 12", Midwest Industries T-Series 14", Midwest Industries 15", 3CR Tactical Free Float) — replaces the barrel nut and floats off the receiver so nothing touches the barrel. Better accuracy, more forward hand placement, and cleaner clearance for low-profile gas blocks.

Length should match your gas system: 7-inch pistol / carbine gas, 9-12 inch carbine gas, 13-14 inch mid-length gas, and 15 inch for rifle-length gas or an extended sight radius over a mid-length barrel. Check that the handguard covers your gas block and gas tube without contact. Pair with a matching barrel, or shop the broader M-Lok and KeyMod handguard selection if you don't need full quad-rail real estate. Free shipping on every order.
