Designed to pair with a top-windowed slide so the muzzle ports vent through the window and pull muzzle rise out of the shooter's sight picture without a separate compensator or muzzle device.
Stainless steel construction with a rainbow oil-slick PVD coating. The finish varies barrel to barrel and shows holster wear and contact points over time — that is part of the look, not a flaw. Crown-cut muzzle profile finishes the barrel cleanly at the slide face.
Lube the inside of the slide along the barrel hood before the first range trip. Tolerances can be tight on a fresh barrel; a short break-in run will seat the fit. Confirm your slide has a top window or this barrel will not function as designed.
