Drops into Glock 17 Gen 1-3 slides with no fitting work. Gen 4 slides require a Gen 3 recoil rod with an adapter; this barrel is not compatible with Gen 5 frames.
Machined from 416R stainless steel and finished in a rainbow oil-slick PVD coating. Each barrel runs slightly different through the coating bath, so coloration and pattern vary unit to unit — no two are identical. The PVD layer is hard-wearing on most surfaces but will rub at metal-to-metal contact points (locking lug face, hood) over time, which is normal and does not affect function.

Lube the inside top of the slide on first install — tolerances can be tight during the first 50–100 rounds. Confirm the recoil spring assembly is OEM Gen 3 spec if you are running this on a Gen 4 slide. Coating wear on locking surfaces is expected over time and is part of normal use.
