The SOG ParaShears is a multi-tool built for first responders and anyone who carries a medical or trauma kit. Instead of a general-purpose plier tool, it carries a mission-specific set of 11 components, including shears, a strap cutter, a glass breaker, an oxygen wrench and tweezers. This one is finished in black.
The shears use SOG's proprietary Compound Leverage technology. Multiple pivot points generate more handle travel relative to jaw movement, so the ParaShears cut through material more easily and quickly than equivalent shears. That matters when you need rapid, precise work under stress in a medical setting.
