The Volquartsen Lightweight Carbon Fiber threaded barrel is a drop-in replacement for the factory Ruger 10/22 barrel. It gives you bull-barrel accuracy at a fraction of the weight. A laser-hardened stainless steel liner is tensioned inside a carbon fiber sleeve for rigidity and heat dissipation, bringing the barrel down to roughly 1.25 lbs.
A bull contour adds stiffness, but a solid steel bull barrel makes the 10/22 front-heavy. The carbon fiber sleeve keeps the bull-barrel profile and rigidity while cutting most of that weight, so the rifle stays light for field carry and quick to handle on the range. The 1/2x28 threads accept common .22 muzzle devices and rimfire suppressors.
No gunsmithing is required for standard 10/22 receivers. Bull-barrel profiles need a stock with a bull-barrel channel, so confirm your stock before ordering. Check that any muzzle device or suppressor you plan to use is rated for .22 LR and threaded 1/2x28, and keep the thread protector on when nothing is mounted.
