Drop-in fit for the Glock 48 — Agency Arms' Mid Line takes the same match-grade 416R stainless barrel that built their reputation and adds the visual machining work most shooters reach for at twice the price.
The barrel sits flush with the slide, runs SAAMI-spec 9mm, and finishes in a matte diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating that resists holster wear and powder cake.
The flutes are functional as well as cosmetic — they lighten the reciprocating mass slightly and shed heat faster than a smooth-OD barrel. Match-grade fit means tighter groups on paper, especially at 15–25 yards.
Run 100–150 rounds of 115gr or 124gr FMJ to bed the new barrel before mixing in self-defense loads. Lube the inside top of the slide forward of the ejection port during the first range trip.
Verify your pistol is a Glock 48 before ordering — this barrel will not fit the G43X, despite the shared frame width.
