Drop-in match-grade replacement barrel for Glock 17 Gen 5 frames in a TiN (Titanium Nitride) gold finish. Will not fit Gen 1-4 G17 slides — Gen 5 ONLY. Machined by Zaffiri Precision in the USA from 416R stainless steel and PVD-coated for hardness and durability.
Specs:
Drop-in installation with no fitting required on a stock Gen 5 G17 slide. Confirm slide generation before purchase — this barrel will not lock up correctly in a Gen 1-4 G17. Break in with 200 rounds of standard 115 or 124 gr FMJ before relying on the barrel for duty or carry use. The TiN gold PVD coating is wear-resistant; expect some minor holster wear at slide-rail contact points over the long run.
Finish note: The TiN coating will show wear at metal-to-metal contact points — primarily the locking lug face and barrel hood — over time. This is normal and does not affect function or accuracy.
