The Sylvan Arms Gen 5 (SA5) folding stock adapter lets an AR fold its stock to the right side of the receiver, making the rifle shorter for storage, transport and vehicle use. It was designed and tested with professional users in mind.
The adapter is CNC-machined in the USA from 4140 steel and weighs only 9.4 ounces. Sylvan Arms rates it 250% stronger than its 4th-generation adapter. Hinge tension is adjustable, and the buffer pin is improved and hardened. Two QD sling attachment points give you mounting options at the rear of the rifle.
Installs between an AR lower receiver and the buffer tube. The included bolt extension is required so the rifle can cycle with the stock folded. Folding stocks are regulated in some states. Verify your local laws before you install it.
