Sylvan Arms SA5 Gen 5 AR Folding Stock Adapter — Left-Hand

The Sylvan Arms SA5 is the fifth-generation folding stock adapter for AR rifles, in a left-hand version. It turns your AR into a compact platform for storage and transport. Sylvan Arms designed and tested it with professionals and protectors in mind, and rates it 250% stronger than its 4th-gen adapter. It is CNC-machined in the USA from 4140 steel and weighs only 9.4 ounces.

Features:

• Left-hand version
• 2 QD sling attachment points
• CNC-machined in the USA from 4140 steel
• 9.4 ounces
• Adjustable hinge tension
• Improved, hardened buffer pin
• Includes a 1045 steel bolt extension and installation tools

How it works

A standard AR bolt carrier rides back into the buffer tube, so the stock can't simply hinge out of the way. The SA5 mounts between the receiver and the buffer tube.

Before you install: Confirm whether you need the left-hand or right-hand version for your setup. Installation involves removing the buffer tube and fitting the bolt extension, so follow Sylvan Arms' instructions or have a gunsmith install it. Function-check the rifle with the stock open and folded before live fire.
