The Dead Air KeyMo muzzle brake is a 30-caliber brake threaded 1/2x28, finished in black. It fits barrels threaded 1/2x28 and redirects propellant gas to counter recoil and muzzle rise, so your sights come back on target faster for flatter follow-up shots.
The 1/2x28 pitch is the common thread on many AR-15 barrels. A 30-caliber bore is sized for .30-caliber projectiles, so match the brake to the caliber you actually shoot and confirm your barrel's thread pitch before you order. A 5/8x24 barrel will not accept this brake.
