The defining feature is the rifling: single-point cut with Fortis's lone rifling process, which produces grooves with measurably tighter bore concentricity than typical button or hammer-forged work. On paper that's a small number; on target it's tighter groups at 15-25 yards, especially with 124- and 147-grain match loads. An 11° target crown protects the muzzle and helps gas escape symmetrically for a cleaner exit.
Specs:
Break-in: 100 rounds of clean, standard-pressure 9mm to settle the locking surfaces. Match loads will tighten up after the first few hundred rounds as the bore polishes. The copper TiCN finish wears in slightly at the lockup ring — expected polishing contact, not damage. Avoid wire brushes on the finish during cleaning to preserve the copper tone.
