Verify your barrel is a Glock 43 pattern before assembly (Glock 43 and 43X share barrel dimensions). Cycle the slide on the frame 200+ times before live fire to seat the rails. The RMSc cut is machined flat with no locating bosses, so torque the optic's mounting screws to manufacturer spec and use a recoil-grade thread locker — the screws and locker carry the load that posts otherwise would.

For optic installation, use the mounting kit included with your optic (Holosun, Trijicon, Sig, Vortex, etc.) — manufacturer kits have the correct torque spec, head shape, and threadlocker matched to that optic. The dimensions above are for reference when sourcing a replacement cover plate or aftermarket hardware. A cover plate is not included with this slide.
