A pistol-length stainless gas tube for AR-15 builds running a pistol-length gas system. At roughly 6.75" it carries gas from the gas block back to the bolt carrier on short-gas-system barrels, the setup most AR-15 pistols and short-barreled uppers use.
Stainless steel holds up to the heat and carbon at the gas block end better than plain steel. The tube mates to a standard mil-spec bolt-carrier gas key and pins into the gas block with a roll pin.

For .223/5.56 builds with a pistol-length gas port. Gas tube length must match the barrel's gas system; it is not interchangeable with carbine, mid-length, or rifle-length tubes. When you install it, confirm the tube slides freely into the gas key with the upper assembled, and that the gas block port lines up with the barrel port before you pin it.
