Drops into Glock 22 Gen 3 and Gen 4 full-size frames with no fitting and no slide work. Direct OEM-spec replacement for the factory .40 S&W barrel — keep the slide and frame, swap the barrel. Not compatible with Gen 5, and not a 9mm conversion barrel (see GLK-23-THD for a .40→9mm conversion for the compact G23).
Machined from 416R stainless steel and finished in black nitride. Chamber cut and hood geometry match OEM Glock 22 factory dimensions for headspace and lockup — no gauging required.
Magazine note: keep your factory .40 S&W magazines; a 9mm mag will not feed .40 correctly. Use case: replacement for a worn or damaged factory barrel, or a spare for a duty/training rotation. Break-in: run 100–150 rounds before evaluating accuracy — the bore polishes in with initial firing.
