This steel muzzle brake / flash hider threads onto .223 / 5.56 AR-15 barrels with the standard 1/2x28 muzzle thread. It is a simple, durable steel muzzle device with wrench flats for installation.
1/2x28 is the standard thread on .223 / 5.56 AR-15 barrels. It is not the same as common 9mm or .30-caliber pitches, so check your barrel before you order.
Features:
Installation: A crush washer or timing washer is required to time the device on your barrel, and one may not be included. Thread it on, time it with the washer, and torque it to spec with a wrench on the flats. Confirm the bore is aligned and the device is tight before live fire.
Fitment check: Verify your barrel is threaded 1/2x28 before ordering. This is not a 9mm or .30-caliber pitch.
