Fits Glock 17 Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 3 OEM frames plus Polymer80 PF940V2 builds. Will not fit Gen 4 or Gen 5 frames. The Glock 17 is the full-size Gen 3 platform — longer sight radius, higher round count, and the slide that fits the widest range of holsters and aftermarket accessories.

• Finish: hard black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) — harder than Cerakote or standard nitride, low friction at the rails
• Optic cut: Trijicon RMR footprint — accepts RMR, Holosun 407/507, and compatible micro-red-dots
• Iron sight cuts: standard Glock 17 dovetail front and rear
• Front and rear diagonal serrations for press checks and admin handling
• Matching RMR cover plate installed
• Chambering: 9mm

What you still need: 9mm barrel and a slide completion kit (internals). 3CR Tactical sells both — pair this slide with the 3CR Slide Completion Kit and a Gen 3 G17 barrel to finish the build.

G17 vs. G19 — which slide: The G17 slide is roughly 0.5 inches longer than the G19. If you are building a range gun, competition gun, or home-defense platform where size is not a constraint, the G17 gives you a longer barrel, better sight radius, and marginally better muzzle velocity. Pick the G19 slide if you need a carry-friendly footprint.

Break-In: Lubricate the rails before first installation. Hand-cycle the slide 50 times after assembly to verify smooth lockup and barrel hood timing before live-fire.
