Fits Glock 17 Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 3 OEM frames plus Polymer80 PF940V2 builds. Not compatible with Gen 4 or Gen 5 — the rail and recoil layout changed. This is a stripped slide; the 9mm barrel and slide completion kit are sold separately.
Finish is hard black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) bonded to 17-4 stainless steel. DLC runs harder than nitride or Cerakote and won't chip on the muzzle, slide stop, or rear corners under regular range time.
Slide specs:
To finish the build: Gen 3 Glock 17 9mm barrel, slide completion kit (firing pin, extractor, channel liner, spring cups, recoil rod), iron sights or an RMR-footprint optic.
Optic mount screws: 6-32 x 1/3 in for the cover plate, 6-32 x 7/16 in for an RMR-footprint optic. The optic manufacturer's screw kit is recommended over generic hardware.
Lube the rails before first install and hand-cycle the slide 50 times to verify smooth lockup and barrel hood timing before live fire. Confirm your frame generation is Gen 1-3 before assembly.
