Fits Glock 17 Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 3 OEM frames plus Polymer80 PF940V2 builds. Not compatible with Gen 4 or Gen 5 — the rail and recoil layout changed. This is a stripped slide; a 9mm barrel and slide-completion kit are sold separately.
Finish is hard Black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) bonded to 416 stainless steel — harder than nitride, more scratch-resistant than Cerakote, and doesn't lift under repeated holster draws. The RMR optic cut accepts Trijicon RMR / RM06 red dots directly; the steel cover plate ships installed for iron-sight-only use.
Completion kit pairing: pairs with the 3CR Tactical Slide Completion Kit for Glock 17/22 Gen 3-4 (SKU 3CR-GLK-SLD-KIT — firing pin, extractor, plunger, spring, and cover plate). Barrel pairing: the 3CR 9mm drop-in G17 barrel (SKU GLK-17-RPL) or threaded 1/2x28 variant (GLK-17-THD) both drop straight in. Break-in: cycle 20–50 rounds after full assembly to confirm reset and extraction before defensive carry.
