The Real Avid Smart Torq 83-piece set is a torque driver and bit kit made for gun work, with a focus on mounting optics and building rifles and pistols. It sets torque in 1 in-lb increments, so you can hit the spec for scope rings, red dot screws and other small fasteners instead of guessing.
The driver has a long, LED-lit shaft that reaches recessed screws and lights up the work area so you can see the fastener you are turning. The 83 bits are hollow ground and square cut to fit screw slots fully and resist cam-out and stripped heads. The case labels every bit position and has two magnetic compartments for small screws and parts.
Check the manufacturer's torque spec for every fastener before you tighten it, especially optic and ring screws. Over-torquing small screws can strip threads or damage a scope tube.
