The Radian Ramjet barrel and Afterburner micro compensator combo is a drop-in upgrade for Glock 17 Gen 5 pistols chambered in 9mm. The Afterburner is one of the smallest pistol compensators on the market at just 0.47" long, yet the two-piece system cuts felt recoil by up to 44% with 115gr ammunition.
The Ramjet is a match-grade barrel machined from hardened 416R stainless with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) finish. The Afterburner compensator is hardened 17-4 stainless with the same coating — together they deliver low friction, high hardness, and corrosion resistance the muzzle blast will not erode through.
INTRA-LOK mounting: a tapered locking screw interfaces with an angled V-groove on the underside of the barrel. Slide the compensator over the barrel, tighten the screw, and the comp self-times against the muzzle. No shims, no thread protectors, no thread alignment to chase. Pulling the barrel for cleaning is the same one-screw operation in reverse.
Drop-in fit on a stock Gen 5 Glock 17 — no frame milling, no slide modification. Function-check with a magazine of FMJ before duty or carry use.
