This slick-side billet upper receiver gives an AR-15 a clean profile with no forward-assist boss and no dust-cover hinge. Removing both leaves a smoother machined billet body with fewer parts to deal with. The flat-top Picatinny rail accepts any optic or sight mount, and it mates with standard AR-15 barrels, handguards, and bolt carrier groups.
