The Noveske Direct Mount Optic System (DMOS) is a stripped slide for Glock 17 Gen 3 pistols that mounts a red dot directly to the slide — no plate, no adapter, no cover screws working loose. The DMOS pocket supports four common pistol-optic footprints, so you can swap red dots without buying a new slide.
The slide is machined from 17-4 stainless steel and DLC-coated for hardness and corrosion resistance. A forward-mounted rear sight ships installed on the cover plate, which clears the optic and lets you co-witness through any of the supported footprints.
Compatibility: Glock 17 Gen 3 frames and components only. Use a Gen 3 G17 barrel, recoil assembly, and slide completion kit to finish the build. Verify your red dot footprint against Noveske's DMOS chart before mounting.
Function-check by hand-cycling the slide with a barrel and recoil assembly installed before live fire. Optic mounting screws should be torqued to manufacturer spec with medium-strength thread locker.
