LPM Liberty Bell Muzzle Brake — 5/8x24 .30 Cal, Q Plan-B Compat

$79.00

The LPM Liberty Bell muzzle brake from Liberty Precision Machine is a precision-machined .30-caliber recoil-mitigation device with a 5/8x24 thread pitch, 17-4 PH stainless construction, and a 13/16" hex rear for installation. Internal porting redirects gas laterally to noticeably reduce felt recoil on .30-caliber rifles, and the device is compatible with the Q Plan-B suppressor mounting system for a future-proof upgrade path from brake to can without swapping the muzzle device.

Specs & features:

  • 17-4 PH stainless steel, CNC-machined and timed in a single setup for concentricity
  • 5/8x24 thread pitch — the standard .30-caliber muzzle thread on AR-10, bolt-action, and gas-piston hosts
  • .30-caliber bore — .308 Winchester, 7.62 NATO, 6.5 Creedmoor, and .300 Blackout host barrels
  • 13/16" hex flats for a clean wrench install with a standard AR armorer's wrench
  • Q Plan-B suppressor adapter compatible — mounts a Q suppressor without removing the brake
  • Made in USA by Liberty Precision Machine

Host-rifle notes: Popular pairings include 16" and 18" 6.5 Creedmoor gas guns (where the Liberty Bell trades ~40% of felt recoil for muzzle rise you can spot through), 14.5"-pinned .308 AR-10 uppers, and .300 Blackout carbines running supersonic loads. On a lightweight bolt gun the brake is aggressive — expect noticeable side blast off the bench, which is the tradeoff for the recoil reduction. The .308 crown chamfer is deep enough to clear the bullet path on all standard SAAMI-spec .30-caliber loads.

Install: Verify muzzle thread pitch and bore diameter against your barrel before install. Use a crush washer or peel washers for proper timing; thread sealant is optional on stainless threads. After the first 50 rounds, re-check timing and torque to factory spec. Q Plan-B mounting requires the matching Q suppressor cone — install per Q's published torque spec.
