The Micro Comp ports redirect gas upward to flatten muzzle rise during rapid pairs. Run it on a 124 or 147 gr load to balance dwell time at the comp ports — light 115 gr practice ammo will work but the felt-recoil reduction is most pronounced with heavier projectiles. Verify slide compatibility before ordering and run 100-150 rounds of FMJ before relying on the setup for duty or defensive use, particularly if you swap between the bare thread protector and the comp.
