Why fiber optic: In bright daylight, fiber optic dots gather and concentrate ambient light, making them dramatically brighter than plain three-dot sights. Trade-off: fiber optic doesn't work in true darkness (no light to gather) — for night use, choose tritium or fiber-optic + tritium hybrid sights.
