This Burris FastFire mount puts a red dot on a SIG Sauer P226 without milling the slide. The plate seats in the P226 rear-sight dovetail and accepts the Burris FastFire / Docter optic footprint, so the optic rides on the slide and moves with it.

Install notes:

• Remove the factory rear sight from the dovetail before fitting the mount
• With the rear sight removed, the optic becomes your primary sight, so zero it before carry or competition use
• Check the mount and optic screws after the first range session
