The Brownells Fluted Match-Grade Glock 17 barrel is a 4.02" shortened replacement for Gen 1 through Gen 4 G17 frames — note this barrel runs about 0.47" shorter than the OEM 4.49" Glock 17 barrel, so verify your slide and recoil-rod assembly are compatible with the shorter dimension before install. It works well as a Glock 19-length conversion inside a G17 slide or for compact-build concepts.
Match-grade chamber and 416R stainless steel deliver tighter group sizes than the factory MIM barrel with cleaner case extraction under hot 9mm loads. Fluted exterior cuts a small amount of reciprocating mass and looks correct under a window-cut slide.

Best for builders running a compact-conversion rather than a stock-replacement OEM swap. Sight regulation may shift slightly versus the longer OEM barrel — expect to adjust elevation at 25 yards.
