The B5 Systems Type 23 P-Grip is a replacement pistol grip for AR-15 lower receivers, shown here in MultiCam Black. Compared with a standard A2 grip, it uses a more vertical grip angle and an extended tang, which sets your hand higher on the rifle and puts your trigger finger in a consistent, correct index.

The more vertical angle suits the squared-up, compressed stocks and shorter lengths of pull common on modern carbines, where an A2 grip can bend the wrist. An aggressive molded texture keeps your hold under recoil, with or without gloves. The grip is molded from mil-spec material and made in the USA, and it accepts the B5 Battery Grip Plug if you want to store spare batteries in the grip.

Installs like any AR-15 pistol grip with the grip screw and lock washer. Hold the safety selector detent and spring in place as you seat the grip so the detent is not lost, then function-check the safety selector before firing.
