1/2x28 muzzle threads accept standard 9mm compensators and suppressors. A thread protector is included so the barrel runs flush with the slide when nothing is mounted.
The 1/2x28 threads pair directly with the 3CR Tactical 9mm Micro Compensator for a flush, factory-width profile that adds dot-recovery speed without changing the slide footprint.
Run 100–200 rounds of standard-pressure 115gr or 124gr FMJ to seat the barrel before mixing in JHP or +P loads. Lube the inside top of the slide forward of the ejection port during break-in. See our slide break-in guide for the full procedure.
Confirm your pistol is a Glock 19 Gen 3 or Gen 4 before ordering — Gen 5 G19 pistols require a Gen 5-specific barrel due to the redesigned chamber and recoil assembly.
