Run a light film of oil on the barrel hood and locking lugs the first range session — tolerances can be tight out of the box and a little lube helps the barrel break in cleanly. If you are dropping this into an aftermarket slide, confirm the chamber dimensions and slide rails match the Glock 43 spec before live fire.
