Compatibility notes: G43 and G43X share the same slide-and-barrel footprint, so a single threaded barrel covers both frames. Pair only with a subcompact-width 9mm comp — full-size G17 / G19 / G26 compensators are wider than the G43 slide and will not sit flush. The Faxon EXOS-533 is the correct dedicated G43 / G43X / G48 compensator. Chambered for standard 9mm Luger (9x19); not rated for +P+ hot-loaded proof loads. A ~50-round break-in is recommended before mounting a suppressor so any surface flash from the nitride bath fully burnishes.
Suppressor and recoil-spring notes: The 1/2x28 pitch is compatible with common 9mm cans including SilencerCo Osprey 9, Rugged Obsidian 9, and AAC TiRant 9M when a booster / Nielsen device is fitted. If you run the G43X (13+1 with an aftermarket mag) suppressed or with a heavy comp, watch for short-stroking on light 115gr practice ammo — a slightly heavier recoil spring (Wolff 15lb replacement) restores reliability without sharpening felt recoil.
