9mm threaded drop-in barrel for the Glock 17 Gen 1-4. Slides into factory and aftermarket Glock 17 slides without fitting work or hand-lapping. The threaded 1/2x28 muzzle accepts standard 9mm compensators, suppressors, and thread protectors. Not compatible with Gen 5 frames — different barrel and locking-block geometry, so source a Gen 5–specific barrel for that platform.
Machined from 4150 chromoly steel with a hardened black nitride finish for corrosion resistance and a low-glare matte surface that wears in cleanly over time.
Run a thread protector or compensator any time you're on the range — exposed muzzle threads collect debris and beat up the crown. Lubricate the slide rails and barrel hood during the first 100 rounds to seat lockup. Verify that your slide and recoil rod combination is set up for Gen 1-4 timing before installation, and confirm your suppressor or comp threads are correctly indexed before live fire.
