G17 vs. G19 — which slide:

The Glock 17 slide is approximately 0.5 inches longer than the G19. If you're building a range gun, competition gun, or home defense platform where size is not a constraint, the G17 gives you a longer barrel, better sight radius, and marginally better muzzle velocity.
