Mil-spec AR-15 triggers typically have an 8 to 9 pound trigger pull with factory springs. Utilizing the KVP Reduced Power Spring Kit should yield a trigger pull reduction of 2 to 4 pounds. A 5 to 6 pound trigger pull is typical after installation of the KVP Reduced Power Spring Kit.
The KVP reduced power springs are designed to reduce trigger pull weight in Single Stage triggers. Due to the magnitude of triggers on the market, KVP can not guarantee that ALL triggers will adequately detonate ALL cartridges. We recommend high quality brass cased ammunition loaded with commercial primers for the best results. Installation should be performed or overseen by a competent gunsmith.
